Lukins Logs is proudly owned by Jeff and Kathy Lukins, based in Huntsville, AL.
Jeff's early life was shaped by his father's career in the paper industry, which led to moves from forest to forest rather than city to city. It was during these formative years, spent alongside his father in his workshop, that Jeff discovered his passion for woodworking. With a natural talent and a keen eye for detail, he delights in creating beautiful and functional pieces.
In 2022, Jeff married Kathy, who has been an incredible partner and a constant source of inspiration. Her encouragement led him to invest in the largest portable sawmill in the region, and together they began designing unique creations. In the summer of 2024, Lukins Logs was officially born. Marking the beginning of their journey, they hand milled 30 slabs from a historic tree felled in a storm and are transforming them into exquisite live edge works of art. While this project progresses, Lukins Logs is proud to offer live edge hospitality boards and other wood products for sale. We invite you to join us as we craft timeless pieces that celebrate the beauty of nature—from forest to furniture.
